To approach the Recreation Ground please take Blakes Road (or Tag Lane), off the A4. This avoids a lot of traffic having to pass through the village.

The address is:

The Piggott School,
Twyford Road,

The school is approximately 25-30 mins walk from the Recreation ground, or much less if used as a warm up jog (recommended option!). If parking here, please leave plenty of time to get to the start.

Please do not park on the course or surrounding areas as this will cause disruption for runners and local residents.

Course map

The Kids Fun Run is 3 laps of the Wargrave Recreation Ground with marshals around the field to oversee the runners.

The 10km course map can be found here. The start and finish are at Wargrave Recreation Ground and a lap of the field is required on both the outward and homeward legs. A lap of Highfield Park is completed on the outward leg only. All kilometre points will be marked on the course.

The 10km course has been officially measured and is certified by the Association of Course Measures, the course measurement certificate can be found here.

Please keep to the left and obey marshal instructions at all times, even if it means a temporary stop to your running. Vehicular traffic will not be stopped on all roads so please exercise EXTREME CAUTION. If you need to withdraw from the race – please contact the nearest marshal.

N.B. The course will only be fully marshalled for 1.5hrs from the start of the race and will be unmarshalled from 11.30am.
