What are the age limits for entry?

Kids Fun Run: Ages between 4 and 14 on 16/06/2024.

10k: Ages 15 and over on 16/06/2024.

Are the roads closed?

Roads will not be closed but the entire course is well marshalled.

Will the event be chip timed?

Yes, the 10k event will be chip timed, the results will be available online shortly after the event.

Will there be water stations on the course?

Yes, we provide 3 water stations at approximately 2.5, 5.5 and 8.2km.

​

Can I run with a buggy?

The course is not suitable for buggies due to the profile of the course.

​

Are there toilets on site?

Yes, portaloos will be located at the start/finish area.

​

Will I be able to wear headphones during the run?

No, From 1 April 2016 a new rule regarding the wearing of head phones in road races was introduced into the 2016-2018 edition of the UKA Rules of Competition:

"The wearing of headphones, or similar devices, (other than those medically prescribed), is not permitted in races on any single carriageway road that is not wholly closed to traffic."

Is there a baggage area?

Yes, there is baggage storage storage at the start/finish. Please note that all items are left at your own responsibility.

Can I get a refund if I can't take part in the event?

Unfortunately we will not be able offer any refunds once you have entered the race, however we would happy to defer your entry should you wish enter the same race in the following year.
