Following a vote by club members on the nominated charities for this years Village 10K on July 5, we are delighted to announce that the charity chosen is Berkshire Vision.  

Berkshire Vision provide practical and friendly support, sport and activities to visually impaired children and adults, and their families in Berkshire. 

Join us on the day to support Berkshire Vision.

Not Long to Go Now!

The Spring Staggered Jog will take place on 30th April at Dinton Pastures.  

Runners are requested to submit their predicted 5K time to Neal ASAP.

Club Members were delighted to take part in the inaugural Green Park parkrun recently.  It was a well attended event and everything went to plan.

The course and location was given a thumbs up so we will be back.

Club members can usually be seen at Woodley and have Victoria Park, Newbury and California Park in their sights. 

For paid up members of the club the annual Summer 5K series will start in May with Wargrave Hosting the first event on 12th May.

This series of 5K events will run from May to July and offer a great opportunity to run, socialise, and enjoy a bit of healthy competition.

The Annual General Meeting of Wargrave and Twyford Runners will take place on 6th May at 7.30pm in the George and Dragon, Wargrave.  

All club members are invited to attend. 

Preparations are well underway for the Village 10K that will take place along with the Kids Race on Sunday 5th July.  

The event is very popular in the race calendar and entries are now open.

To keep everyone on their toes,  the race route has been updated this year.   You'll have to come along to find out how.........
