Volunteer at the Wargrave 10K

​The Wargrave 10K is only possible because of our brilliant volunteers.

From welcoming runners and helping at registration, to marshalling the course and supporting the junior fun run, our volunteers are the people who help make race day safe, smooth and full of community spirit.

This year’s Wargrave 10K takes place on Sunday 5 July 2026 at Wargrave Recreation Ground, and we would love a few more friendly faces to join us.

Can you help?

You do not need any previous experience — just a little time, a smile and a willingness to get involved.

Volunteer roles include:

• Car park marshals

• Registration support

• Course marshals

• Start and finish area support

• Bag drop support

• General race-day helpers

Some roles take place before the main 10K starts, so you may still be

able to volunteer and run the race too.

What you will get

As a thank you, every volunteer will receive a free Mr Whippy ice cream on race day.

More importantly, you will be helping to create a fantastic local event for runners, families, supporters and the wider Wargrave community.
